9 Noillirk tips to climb higher
Noillirk rewards the most ordinary brain in the room. These nine habits will get you there faster than any trivia knowledge.
1. Say your first three answers out loud (in your head)
The #1 answer is almost always one of the first three things that come to mind. Your instinct is calibrated better than you think — the mistake is usually picking the second-most common one. List three, then choose the bluntest.
2. Answer for the crowd, not for yourself
Imagine a hundred strangers of all ages — a kid, a teenager, a parent, a grandparent — each shouting one answer. Type the word the most of them would shout. “What would a kid say?” is a surprisingly accurate filter for prompt after prompt.
3. Go generic, not specific
Say keys, not car keys. Say pizza, not pepperoni pizza. Say dog, not golden retriever. The board rewards the broad, everyday meaning of the prompt — specificity is the single most common way to fall off it.
4. Watch for the trap of “clever”
If your answer feels fun, rare, or impressive, it is almost certainly worth the least on the board. The game is rigged in favour of boring. Be boring on purpose.
5. Use the full 15 seconds
Speed scores nothing — the clock is only a deadline. If your first instinct is odd, take five seconds to reset: re-read the prompt, strip it to its most everyday meaning, then answer.
6. Rejected answers are free retries
An answer that is not on the board costs you nothing but time. If you are unsure between two words, try the more likely one first — you can still type the other before the clock dies.
7. In Endless, protect the balloons
You start with three. Only a pass or a timeout pops one — any accepted answer, however rare, keeps them all. So in Endless, never let the clock die: if you are unsure, type the safest common word at second 10 rather than gambling for the #1.
8. A #1 answer wins a balloon back
Lost a balloon? The comeback is real: every Sky High answer re-inflates one (up to three). When you do recognise a prompt's obvious answer, take the shot — Endless rewards streaks of common sense.
9. Warm up on Classic before the Daily
The Daily climb is the same for everyone — a bad start is public. Classic deals fresh sets with no pressure, so knock out one warm-up climb, find your “ordinary gear,” then take on the Daily.
